March has arrived. KU basketball is rolling into the tournament with a 23-8 overall record. We are also Big 12 champs….for the 10th straight year, might I add. Our team consists of not only the #1 recruit, Andrew Wiggins, but also the #1 NBA prospect, Joel Embiid. With a team packed full of incredible talent, the best fans in the nation and titles to back us up, all of us Jayhawks cannot wait to see what happens in this year’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

“I think it will be very interesting to see how the tournament plays out this year. Embiid definitely needs to recover his full strength back for us to beat teams like Florida and Arizona. It was tough to see KU lose to K-State away, but I think all KU fans know that our real goal is in March.” – Haylee Hedge, junior from Hays

“I think March Madness is like a second Christmas! It’s such an exciting time for basketball because it really gives every team a chance to be the best! Plus, it’s a great excuse to not do homework.” – Katie Murray, junior from Olathe

Watch Selection Sunday on March 16 at 5 p.m. on CBS. Then, get your brackets ready to go for Round One of games beginning on Tuesday, March 18!
