It’s already getting close to Spring Break. So, that means it time to create a new post soon. Well that is what I am planning on doing for the end of semester. Many things have happened since I have started my junior year of college.
Whether it comes to Instagram, LinkedIn, FaceBook, X, and more, it’s important to do a refresh so that you feel better about yourself. That it doesn’t mean post like crazy but make sure to overdo your feed. The whole point is to make sure you are known.
Social media has grown to a point where employers can see what you do. Which can dictate whether you get the job or not. As much as it difficult to believe, it truly does occur.
This can help make people feel better especially with all of the negativity that social media may have. It is truly not that horrible. A feed refresh can improve a little bit of mental health especially if you want to make a change in your life. Now, that doesn’t mean you have to or it’s a requirement. It would be nice to have, if you wish. This is what I recommend to start but don’t feel like you have to. This is what I have learned by being on social media for a long time.
First, choose a theme or an aesthetic. What I mean is what are you going to try to post first.
If that means a day in my life, no aesthetic, baking, outdoors, and more. Your feed refresh can be in any of these categories. Or just living your life to the fullest.
Second, don’t post anything a little bit crazy if your account is public. A reason that I say this is because of how employers may not choose you for a position because of what you post online. It’s not easy because it really isn’t fair.
Third, make sure not to comment something that may offend someone. Employers look at everything because they don’t want to have a negative reputation if they hire you.
A refresh can help with a lot more than just dealing with employers.
It’s about having confidence in your self and just loving yourself to the best of your ability. You don’t need anyone to tell you to be confident in yourself. The whole points to love yourself.
Social media has a positive and negative impact depending on how you use social media. That decision is entirely up to you. Just don’t take advantage of social media like crazy and enjoy life.
