With the weather warming up, and the miniskirts coming out, I thought it would be a great idea to give inspiration for accessories to wear this summer/spring! I feel like it is so much easier to dress in warmer weather, it is so hard for me to let go of sweats and sweatshirts though, but it is still difficult to accessorize! There are so many beautiful things we can add to our outfits to really send them to the next level – I always want to add everything! Here is a list of my favorite accessories.
Gold hoops
Yes, I am a gold girlie! I used to go back and forth between gold and silver, depending on the day, my mood, and my outfit, but about 3 years ago I decided to stick with gold and haven’t looked back. I love gold jewelry, but there is something about a hoop earring that will get me every time. I feel like they are so classy, and they make me feel dainty and feminine! I have 3 lobe piercings, and I love finding inspiration for stacking my earrings.
Anklet
I think anklets are such a cute way to make any outfit more playful. One of my favorite things to wear in the summer are Birkenstocks and anklets. I really love beaded anklets (I don’t love it when they break though) because they make me feel like a little girl again.
Claw clips
My hair is very thick, curly, and BIG (especially in the summertime humidity), so claw clips aren’t always my go-to. However, I love being able to throw my hair up without the hassle of using a ponytail (that will most likely get stuck in my hair, anyways). When I was a senior in high school, I discovered flower claw clips, and I haven’t been able to look back. Also, I recently learned how to do a half-up half-down hairstyle with claw clips and haven’t been able to stop.
Bows
I don’t wear a lot of bows, but I absolutely adore it when other people wear them. I feel like they make any outfit a million times more feminine and lighthearted and every time I see a girl wearing a bow, she looks so happy and friendly.
Glasses
I’m actually blind as a bat (no I’m not) and cannot go anywhere without my glasses glued to my face, so this one is a give in for me.
