Guys don’t understand girls. Try as they may, certain questions will always be on their minds. “Why do girls like Nutella so much?” “Why is it that always girls take selfies in bathrooms?”
I had the opportunity to sit down with three males and answer some of their burning (and not so burning) questions about girls. I hope they can sleep a little better now after venturing into the deep depths of the girl’s psyche.
1. How can yoga pants actually be warm?
They actually aren’t very warm. They are just super comfortable and are way better than wearing ‘real’ pants.
2. Why do girls have so many different bottles in the shower?
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body scrub, face wash, strengthening serum. We need these to make ourselves smell and feel good. This is why we can’t go to Target without spending $100.
3. Why do girls go to the bathroom in groups?
We don’t actually know. It just happens that way. Walking all the way to the bathroom can be a scary experience.
4. Why do girls have so many pairs of shoes?
Our question is how can you not? Shoes are to girls as hats are to guys. You have to match them to your outfit, and there’s nothing worse than wearing an outfit with the wrong shoes.
5. Why do you always roll your waistbands on shorts and sweats?
Never really thought about this. Why do they make waistbands so long? It’s not very comfortable when your pants go all the way up to your bra.
6. How can you walk in high heels?
We can’t. They look good and we feel good wearing them. The pain will eventually take over after a good hour or so and they will still look good hanging from our fingers as we walk home.
7. Why do you have to have a million pillows on your bed?
A million is a bit of an exaggeration. It’s more like a thousand. You have your sleeping pillows and you have your decorative pillows. A bed without decorative pillows is a sad, unhappy bed. Granted half of the time the decorative pillows never actually make it onto our beds because who makes their beds? We’re in college. Save that for adulthood.
8. Why do girls always think they’re right?
We are right. End of story.
