Last week was one of those weeks. The kind where if something can go wrong, it will. From failing a quiz to getting a speeding ticket to fighting with your friends, sometimes it seems like every part of your life is falling apart all at once. Here are 7 ways that can help turn a bad week around.

1. Take a bath – Let’s be honest. Nothing is better after a stressful few days than running a bath with bubbles, candles, and a glass of wine.

2. Sweat it out – Get those endorphins going! Exercise is proven to make you feel better. Find a way to work out in a way that you like, whether that’s running, lifting, or dancing in your room!

3. Retail therapy – A new pair of shoes is guaranteed to put me in a better mood. If there’s something you’ve been thinking about buying for a while, treat yourself!

4. Watch your favorite movie – Grab some popcorn and candy and have a relaxing night watching your all-time favorite by yourself or with friends.

5. Volunteer – Sometimes the most rewarding thing is helping others! Whether it’s giving blood or helping at your local animal shelter, knowing that you did some good can put you in a way better mood.

6. Go on a mini adventure – Getting out of a negative environment can immediately affect your mood. Plan a fun day in a new part of town or in a city nearby.

7. Sleep it off – New days are a fresh start. Getting a good night’s sleep and waking up feeling refreshed can put you in a positive mindset for the rest of the week.
