As the fall season progresses, I’m sure we have all begun to put away our summer clothes and break out our fall wardrobes. Bid your final goodbyes to all the exhilarating neon colors of the summer that we know and love. It’s now time to say hello to all of the rich fall colors that seem to never go out of style.
Along with switching up our clothing choices, it’s time to start changing our selection of nail polish colors, to further echo the wonderful colors fall has to offer. As inspiration for the next time you decide to paint your nails, here’s a list of ten of my favorite fall nail polish colors.
1. Red (official name: “My Old Flame”)
Red is the exception here because it is always a great go-to color, regardless of the season!
2. Teal (official name: “Mint Mojito”)
This color provides the perfect transition from summer to fall – it’s still bright and fun, but goes with virtually everything fall!
3. Purple (official name: “Socialite”)
This color offers the perfect pizzazz to any fall outfit and is great for catching a special someone’s eye.
4. Orange (official name: “786 Orange, It’s Obvious!”)
Orange is one of the first colors that comes to mind when we think fall and could even be used to add a little festive flare to your Halloween outfit.
5. Light brown (official name: “Miss Fancy Pants”)
This color is the perfect neutral tone, reminiscent of fall, that can go with any outfit.
6. Light pink/nude (sadly, no official name was provided)
This is an excellent choice if you are looking for something simple and classy, also great for any occasion. (The picture doesn’t do the best job accurately portraying the color).
7. Slate blue (official name: “Blue Slate”)
One of my personal favorites, this color is an awesome hue that has become extremely popular within the past few fall seasons.
8. Light silver (official name: “Silver Lining”)
This color isn’t overwhelming but adds the perfect amount of shimmer to your nails and is great for a night out!
9. Purple-brown (official name: “Island Hopping”)
Although it sounds a little strange, this is another classy color that epitomizes fall; it’s also excellent as a way to spice up your image for a job interview.
10. Navy (official name: “Velvet Navy”)
Navy goes with virtually everything fall and would be a splendid addition to any outfit choice. (Also any shade of blue around this time would be a great way to show your support for the KC Royals, who have amazed us all!)
