Who’s that you hear rapping Nicki Minaj in the distance? It could only be one person – Jeremy Peck. With a personality that brightens any room, and lush green eyes you can stare into for days, this is one campus cutie that you won’t soon forget!

Name: Jeremy Peck

Hometown: Rockville Maryland (totally exotic, no big deal)

Age: 20

Class: Junior

Major: International studies on the Religious studies track.

Relationship Status: As a liberal independent man, I don’t like to put labels on myself, but if I were to pick a label I would probably pick “awesome” “Free” “Single”

What are you looking for in a significant other?/ what turns you on?
Someone who will scratch my head for extended periods of time. Someone who I can talk to about Ke$ha or Avril Lavigne and they wont judge me. Preferably they will enjoy it and have something to add to the conversation. I like people who are really nice, and not people who are nice to get what they want from you. But I think everyone is really nice, so I guess everyone turns me on.

What has been your favorite class at Kenyon?
My favorite class has been Religion in its Global Context with Professor Dean-Otting. It was my first class in the religious studies department. Before that I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do as a major. We learned so much about religion in general that we could connect that knowledge to all religions. Religion was “in its global context.” So contextual!

What would you do with ten Minutes with Snookie from Jersey Shore?
That would be an amazing conversation ! I feel like Snookie and I are very similar, and yet we’re different enough that we would have a lot to talk about. For example, we both love pickles – like, I’ve thought about this ! She’s extremely creative and an individual human being. People give her a lot of shit – they’re like why is she famous? What does she do? She tans, she hooks up with boys and looks ridiculous. But I don’t think so – I think that she is special. I’m sick of people thinking that the industry creates these cultural figures. There are figures like Katy Perry – people give her so much negativity because they think she’s a music industry puppet – that she was picked to become famous. You don’t Pick someone to become famous – they have talent and a very exuberant personality – they stand out and that’s how they become famous. So, bringing it back, if I could talk to Snookie, I would ask her a lot of really philosophical questions and I think that she would give me great answers, better answers than most people at this liberal arts school would be able to give me.

If a Hollywood movie were made about your life, what lead actor would play you?
I think I’d want that the kid who played Edmund in the Narnia movies to play me.

(Skandar Keynes/ Peck side by side)
I totally see it !

What would you eat for your last meal?
Well if its my last meal I wouldn’t want to eat anything. I don’t want to know that it’s the last thing I’m going to eat. Plus, If I know I’m going to die – I’m getting executed, I assume – I would be too upset and I don’t really like to eat anything when I’m upset. Metaphorically, though – ravioli with spinach and ricotta cheese. The ricotta cheese would have a low lactose level, even though ricotta cheese is a soft cheese so naturally it has a high lactose level.

If someone wrote a biography about you, what would it be called?
Humanity turns me on ; Except for when I hate humanity.

Cover photo?
A picture of a Lemur. Lemurs diverged from the human family tree, so Lemurs are sort of related to humans. They represent all of the great qualities of humans. Lemurs are kind of chill, they hang out and they’re real cute and stuff, and humans can also hang out and be cute – but then sometimes they’re total assholes and they think they can kill a rabbit for a coat. I can’t see a lemur wearing leather shoes. Obviously there are logistical things that go into that, but Lemurs would not wear leather shoes. Lemurs don’t wear fur coats. New name for my biography: Humanity Turns Me On; Lemurs Don’t Wear Fur Coats.

If you were a superhero, which superhero would you be?
Invisible woman. She’s the coolest superhero. Have you ever seen her?! She’s a great superhero in that her name implies that she’s invisible, but she has psychic powers also. Did you know she can project a force field into your brain and make it explode and kill you ? It’s great ! She has all of these secret talents ( invisible talents if you will). I like Jessica Alba as her too, I don’t care what anyone says. That was a great movie!

What’s the number one thing on your Kenyon bucket list?
I want to climb an angel statue in front of Rosse like Mulan climbs that pole in the “Be a Man” montage.
