Name: Molly WyrschYear: 2017(Intended) Major: Either English or ClassicsHometown: Portland, OR

HCK: How would you describe yourself? MW: Tea enthusiast, bibliophile, and stay at home dinosaur.

Favorite beverage? Tea. Black tea. I really like Bergamot.

What are you involved in on campus? WKCO – I’m a DJ and a studio recording intern, so I’m learning how to record music. And Crozier sometimes.

Spirit animal? Benedict Cumberbatch.

Describe your perfect day.I think any day when I get to go skiing, and maybe have mac & cheese for dinner.

Name one fun fact about yourself. I peaked four mountains in one day. One of them was a 14,000-foot mountain. We started at 5 o’clock in the morning.

Favorite movie? The Princess Bride.

What are three places you would like to visit in your lifetime? New Zealand (Middle Earth); Rejkivick, Iceland; and Moscow. I spent some time in St. Petersburg this summer and I definitely want to go back to Russia at some point.

Your top five artists/musicians/bands? Bombay Bicycle Club, Horse Feathers, Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens, and Andrew Bird.

What’s something you want to do at Kenyon in the next four years? I don’t even know. Graduate?

What’s your favorite season? I like winter because you can go skiing.

Opinion on snow? Excellent fluffiness that falls from the heavens.

California girl transported to the glory of the Midwest. Art History major, English minor. Proud nerd and Girl Scout. Blogger. Gund Gallery Associate. Class of 2017, loving every minute of exploring Gambier, Kenyon and myself to find what the future has in store.
Ally Bruschi is a senior political science major at Kenyon College. She spent this past summer interning as a writer with both The Daily Meal, a digital media group  dedicated to "all things food and drink" and The Borgen Project, a non-profit organization that partners with U.S. policymakers to alleviate global poverty. Before entering the "real world" of jobs, however, Ally spent many summers as a counselor at an all-girls summer camp in Vermont, aka the most wonderful place on earth. A good book, a jar of peanut butter, a well-crafted Spotify playlist, and a lazy dog could get her through even the worst of days.
