What is your spirit animal and why?

Giraffe, I’m very tall (5’4’’’—most of it in the neck)

If you could spend the day with any one person doing any one thing, who would it be and why?

Nicholas Sparks, learning at his academy. He’s really created a safe community that I would love to be a part of.

What is your favorite Peirce dessert?

Sometimes there are just cooked cherries, you know, there’s a thing on top, but underneath—it’s just cherries. Those are great.

What are three words to describe yourself:

Good head on (Ed: Had to cut this part off, she reached the word limit. What was she going to say? Was that all? We’ll never find out—I asked specifically for three words, and well, those were the three she provided. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

What literary or movie character do you relate to most?

Both Miles Teller and JK Simmon’s characters in the academy award-winning film Whiplash, Andrew and Fletcher. Because, of course, JK Simmons is the pride of Montana. He was on the front page of the paper for an entire week straight when he won his award. We actually performed on the same stage in Montana, not at the same time, nor in the same production, but, hey, you take what you can get.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That, or Landry from Friday Night Lights, because, I mean, how could not relate to him?

What is one thing on your Kenyon bucket list?

Camp on Ransom Lawn!

What is your favorite Kenyon memory?

Getting into Owl Creeks, probably. It’s basically my singing sorority. I love every one involved so much, and it’s completely shaped my Kenyon experience.

Abigail Roberts is a senior English/Creative Writing major at Kenyon College. When she's not writing, she's wasting away on Netflix, voting, or being weird about Victorian literature.
