Hey Flashes, do you want to help bring a huge PINK party to Kent State? Well you can and it’s super simple! Victoria’s Secret PINK is hosting a Campus Showdown Competition from August 25th through September 2nd. All you have to do is download the PINK Nation App (it’s free) and play games to help score points for Kent State! Ninety eight schools are competing for the grand prize of an awesome party on campus; totally free of charge to all students! Read below for all the details on how to win big for Kent State!
Qualifying Challenge: Tap Takeover
This challenge will take place from: Aug. 25 to noon on Aug. 27.
In this challenge, 98 schools will participate for 48 hours and in the end there will be 25 qualifiers. Prove you love Kent State by playing and tapping as FAST as you can in the PINK Nation app. The more you tap, the better and the closer you are to the qualifying line. This game is super fun and an easy way to rack up points for Kent State!
Round 1: Tweet to Compete
This challenge is taking place on Aug. 27 at noon.
In this challenge, the top 25 schools from the qualifying challenge will compete for 24 hours. Flashes, all you have to do is tweet publicly using “#PINKCampusShowdown” and Kent State’s designated hashtag (find it in the PINK Nation App during this round). The school with the most qualifying tweets after the 24 hour time period will move on to the finals. We know you love to tweet, so make it count by using our hashtags to earn us more points!
Round 2: Likes FTW
This challenge will be taking place on Aug 28 until noon.
In this challenge the top 25 schools in the competition compete for 24 hours. All you have to do is follow @PINKCampusShowdown on Instagram and ‘like’ the picture that features Kent State. The school with the most likes qualifies for the finals! Grab your phones Flashes, it only takes a few seconds to help us earn a HUGE party!
Round 3: Snap Spirit
This challenge will take place on Aug. 29 until noon.
In this challenge 25 schools will compete for 24 hours. All you have to do is add VSPINK on Snapchat and screenshot Kent State’s logo. The school with the most screenshots qualifies for the finals. This is so easy and we know you’ll be on Snapchat all day anyway, so just screen shot to win big!
Final Championship: Gram Finale
This challenge will take place on Sept. 1 until noon.
Get excited for the EPIC finale! Only the top 4 schools will compete for the best Instagram video ever! Follow your Kent State PINK Campus Reps and get ready to make your school’s video go viral! Melissa and Taylor will take care of making the video; all you have to do is watch it! More details will come when we crush the competition and make it into the top 4! The Campus Rep video with the most views in 24 hours will win the whole contest!
Winner Announcement!
The winner will be announced on Sept. 2 at noon.
This is when all of your hard work will pay off! The championship winner will score the best campus bash ever! The party will include special musical guests and PINK models to come celebrate the win!
