Finding the perfect gifts for the men in our life can be hard, whether it be for our dad, brother, boyfriend, etc. Today, I wanted to focus on just giving gifts to a boyfriend this holiday season, and if you don’t have a boyfriend, don’t sweat it (hot cocoa and fuzzy socks are all you really need). You may know him like the back of your hand, but still, draw a blank when it comes to deciding what to buy for presents, so I gathered a list of five great ideas to start with if you’re stuck. Let’s get gifting!
- Shoes

If your boyfriend has a skyscraper of shoeboxes in his room, then I think we can tell what gift might make him happiest. Footlocker and Journeys are awesome places to start when looking for shoes, especially sneakers. You can also opt for getting him dress shoes if he’s starting a new job soon or sandals for the warmer months.

I know buying clothes is a very broad option, but this can be different depending on what your guy typically wears. If he’s always at the gym or playing a sport, head to a local sporting goods store and find a few athletic shirts and/or shorts that are ideal for moving around in. If he mostly dresses cool and causal, the mall may be your best bet for finding things like jeans and t-shirts that are currently in style. Lastly, if he needs some help with dressing formally for a job or events, head to a menswear store and pick out a few dress shirts or ties that will be just what he needs when he has to look his best.
- Reusable Water Bottle or Tumbler

Reusable water bottles and tumblers are rising in popularity, thanks to “VSCO girls” and their Hydro Flasks (totally kidding). No matter who is responsible for the trend, these make a helpful gift for anyone. Hydro Flasks are good options if you’re looking to buy a water bottle, however, they can get to be a bit pricey depending on the size you’re getting. S’well Bottles have some cool design choices as well. As for tumblers, they are the perfect companions for your boyfriend’s daily cup of joe on the go. YETI Tumblers are very popular, and I’ve heard lots of great things about them.
- Wireless Earbuds

Though wireless earbuds can be on the expensive end, if you’re looking for the perfect piece of tech for your boyfriend this holiday season, this is my recommendation. I personally have wireless earbuds, and I don’t go anywhere without them. They’re perfect for working out or being on-the-go, and not getting tangled up in pesky wires is an added bonus. You may want to gift your boyfriend AirPods if he has an iPhone or Galaxy Buds if he has an Android. These certainly are not the only two options for wireless earbuds, so you can always search other brands as well.
- Video Games

Remember when Fortnite just came out, and none of us could get a text back for hours? I know many of us may not want to live through this frustration again, but buying your boyfriend a new video game may be the best thing he could ask for. If you don’t know where to begin in finding which game to buy, look at the ones he already plays, and search if there are any new versions of them coming out soon. You can also ask his friends or an employee at a video game store for some help in finding the most popular titles.
