Spring your step into style

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kent State chapter.

It’s finally spring which means warmer weather with more styles to try. As the seasons come and go, some trends become more apparent than others. Florals are still the reigning ruler of spring, with a fresh take. Newcomers like khaki felt like a surprise, but were convincing with their cool take on spring.

1. Bright Colors

Spring forward into a brighter future with bright colors that include yellow, pink and blue shown through out fashion week.

2. Bra Tops

Bras are no longer just undergarments with this upgraded version of a crop top.

3. Cutouts

Show a little shoulder with cold-shoulder trend that shimmied its way through fashion week.

4. Florals

“Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.” Although that quote is as old as florals being in style for spring, florals take a more organic, fresh look this season.

5. Khaki

A spring color that has yet to take the center stage until recently, this season khaki steps out redefining its usual utilitarian look.

6. See through garments

The easy breeze of spring makes sheer an ideal look to sport.

7. Stripes

Horizontal stripes, vertical stripes, nautical stripes, stripes are everywhere. Lines vary in width, color and texture.
