When you get to your dorm room, it’s plain, small and most likely not very pretty. But, if you look at your dorm as a blank canvas, you can transform it into your own cozy, decorated space. These items will take your room to the next level.
1. Wall stickers are my absolute favorite decoration. They come in all kinds of graphics or patterns and they can be put anywhere on any surface. If you decide to redecorate later, peel them off and reposition!
2. Get a cozier feel to your room with strands of lights! After Christmas there are always sales on lights and pinning them along the border of the room will make it fun and relaxed.
3. If you have a large blank wall that is a bit boring, put up a tapestry! There are so many online with cool, colorful designs. They’ll help to open up your room and make the space feel larger.
4. Bring a bit of home with you with printed photos. Decorate around your bed with pictures of family and friends. Not only does this look nice, but also it will make the room feel instantly more homey.
5. Even though mirrors are often bought for practical purposes and not for decoration, they can make a statement on your walls. Buy them in different sizes and place them throughout your room for a cool and unique look.
