As school is ending and summer is right around the corner, we’re all shopping for summer items. So here is a list of some summer must haves.

This is listed as the number one item on this list because it’s the most important. Everyone listen up! You have to wear sunscreen. Skin cancer is very real, and it can kill you or make your life very unpleasant. Also if you want great skin when you’re older, you’ve got to put the work in now. Sunscreen can protect your face from harmful UV rays that cause wrinkles. Glossier’s invisble shield is a great everyday sunscreen. It’s a clear formula so no there’s no white tinge on your face and it looks great under makeup, and it smells amazing. Also it’s only $25.

Sunglasses are not just an accessory, they are a very important tool to have to fight the summer sun. They protect your eyes and help you aviod the harsh sun while you are driving. They can really complete an outfit. Find a perfect pair that speaks to you. For me, it’s the unibrow sunglasses that Manrepeller released in their holiday buffet line. They have a great shape, the lens aren’t too dark, and I love the color of them. Manrepeller said last week they were going to release more unibrow sunglasses in new colors, so I’m pumped.

People have a lot feelings towards sandals. Some love them, and others hate them because they expose your feet to the world. Sandals are great though. They keep your piggies cool on those hot summer days, and I think they look super cute. So get yourself pair of bright colored sandals for the summer!

Show some skin off girl! Get yourself a cute crop top. Expose your tummy to world, and have a great time doing it. I myself have been searching Depop for a white, frilly prairie girl vibe. I have yet to find exaclty what I want, but I’m determined.

I love a good pair of funky earrings. Seashell earrings are the funky summer earrings you need to wear. They look classy with any summer night outfit, but they add a beach babe vibe. You can wear them with your bathing suit to add another element to your poolside look.

We all need a flirty sundress for summer. I always look for one that makes me feel cute and sexy at the same time. Also the sundress is great because you can dress it up and down. I have used mine as a swimsuit cover up before as well. Paloma Wool has this really cute green one on their website right now but Urban Outfitters also has some really great ones too.
So go soak up some sun, put lots of SPF on, and have a great summer!
