What always makes holidays the best in my opinion is rocking a cute outfit. You can’t feel fat after eating 5 plates of food when you’re wearing a cute sweater, right? I mean did I have to go in the bathroom and unzip my skirt a little because I’ve gained like 2 pounds of gravy? Yeah, yeah I did, but that’s okay because if there’s any holiday it’s okay to wear stretchy clothes or have to unbutton our pants so you can eat just one more roll then Thanksgiving is the winner.

So let’s talk key pieces you can rock this Thanksgiving that are cute and comfy!

Sweaters

This feels like a given, but they’re seasonal, cute and tend to be made of stretchy material so you can pile that plate as high as you please! They are also super easy to dress up or dress down depending on what kind of gathering you’re going to as well.

Jeans

I know what you’re thinking, “Why would I want to wear jeans to Thanksgiving?” I’m not totally sure why you would want to, but they can make any outfit look totally chic… and who cares if you have to unbutton them afterwards? No judgment!

Skirts

If you’re from the East Coast, then you’re fully aware that there is always a huge possibility it will either snow or be at least like 30 degrees on Thanksgiving. Wearing a skirt is always a risky choice when it’s so cold! But, if you add in a cute pair of plain or even sparkly tights then you add back in a small amount of warmth. Skirts are also so easy to dress up which makes it really easy to come up with a cute outfit last minute when your mom is rushing you out of the house.

Dresses

What’s better than a flowy dress that you don’t have to worry about being constricting after dinner? Nothing. Dresses are so simple but you can really wow with a cute pattern or a wrap dress that still shows off your shape without being uncomfortably tight.

Shoes

Shoes are basically my favorite part of any outfit. An outfit isn’t complete until you add in a cute pair of shoes! Some people want you to take off your shoes before going into their house, which is totally understandable, but shoes are important when it comes to that Instagram photo you’re going to make your mom take.

Accessories

I’ve seen a high rise in statement earrings recently and I have to say I love them! They look so cute and can be so original looking, meaning I would definitely add in those to any outfit. To finish, pair with some cute dainty necklaces so you’re not drawing away from your outfit!
