Valentine’s Day is approaching fast. All your friends are making plans with their boyfriends. The stores are filled with candy and teddy bears. Even though you’ve been loving the single life, you’re wondering if maybe it’s time to find someone special. But where do you even begin? Don’t stress! Follow these guidelines to have the relationship you’ve always dreamed of!
Obviously the first step to any relationship is getting to know the person. The best way to do this is by stalking. I recommend starting small. Read every single one of his tweets. Scroll through all of his Instagram pictures, even the ones from 200 weeks ago. If you like one by accident, don’t sweat it- now he’ll know you’re interested! Lastly, look at his Facebook- all the way to his first ever post. Look at his frequent check-ins so you know where to start showing up!
Remember, communication is key. Text him nonstop. If he takes more than thirty seconds to reply, text him again. And again. And again. If you don’t constantly stay in contact with him, you’re not truly committed. Call him at least five times a day. Don’t be afraid to show up at his house if he’s not replying, it will be a cute surprise! Men never want alone time, or time with the guys, so don’t worry about being overbearing.
Always be sure to show your affection. When you’re together, make sure he is always holding your hand. This is crucial when you’re together in public- you don’t want other girls thinking they can speak to him! Don’t let him leave your side while you are out together. Keep your arm around him at all times. Kiss him any chance you get so people know he is YOURS. Remember, the clingier the better.
Lastly, make sure your relationship is well balanced. A good relationship involves the right amount of give and take. You have made his life so much better just by being in his presence, so it’s only fair that he pays for all your meals. Going on a long trip together? No need to split the drive or pay for gas! Being his girlfriend is the best gift you could ever give!
