Ashley Graham rose to fame as one of the first plus sized models in mainstream fashion. Nowadays, she is purely known as a body-positive advocate in the fashion industry, making her an inspiration to women everywhere. Here are eight of the many times this 5’9” model SLAYED at what she does.
1. Self magazine cover
Graham graced the October 2016 cover of Self magazine looking sophisticated and strong. She told the magazine, “I always felt second best. I was never the prettiest, never the skinniest, never the fastest in my sports. Never the smartest, because I have dyslexia. Then, all of a sudden, people were like, ‘You’re gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘What?!’”
2. Her lingerie line
In 2013, the curvalicious model launched a lingerie line for Addition Elle. Graham models all her own designs. Be sure to check out the Holiday 2016 collection.

4. Sports Illustrated Cover
Perhaps Graham’s most famous work was the 2016 cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which featured her as the first ever plus-size model to appear on the front of the magazine. S/O to Ashley for making history!

Ashley knows that makeup is cool and all, but isn’t afraid to show off her natural beauty. Look at the beautiful sunshine specks on her fabulous face.
6. In the nude
Music video? Check. Magazine covers? Check. Nude photo shoot? Check. Graham leaves little to the imagination in this jaw-dropping shoot for British magazine Grazia UK.
7. Showing real women looking real fabulous
One of my personal favorite things about her are her posts of real women wearing her lingerie on Instagram. Graham positively captions the pics to perfection, showing appreciation to her customers and fans.
8. That time she brought America’s Next Top Model back
Step back, Tyra! There’s a new supermodel in town. Tyra will remain the show’s executive producer, put Graham will be a judge on VH1’s revamp of ANTM. Talk about staying fierce.
