After 12 long years, the Kent State Women’s basketball team have won the MAC Eastern division title. They clinched the division on March 1st against Miami University. This win helped the Golden Flashes clinch the number three seed in the MAC tournament. The team would go on to play against the number six seed, University of Toledo.
Although the Golden Flashes lost to the University of Toledo, they still had an amazing season. Thanks to head coach, Todd Starkey, the Golden Flashes finished with a 19-11 record. The number of wins they had this year was bigger than the number of wins they’ve had in the three previous seasons.
Congrats on a great season Golden Flashes!
