Campus Cutie: Ashley Baldner

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kent State chapter.

Meet Campus Cutie, Ashley Baldner!

Class Standing: Senior

Major: Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies

Relationship status: Happily taken

Her Campus: What’s your favorite board game?

Ashley Baldner: Definitely Cards Against Humanity or Quelf.

HC: What’s your favorite holiday and why?

AB: Christmas! I’m a December baby, so of course I get all pumped for the holidays. Christmas just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

FHC: What’s your favorite ice-cream flavor?

AB: Moose Tracks

HC: Who is your celebrity crush?

AB: Josh Hutcherson is bae.

HC: If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go and why?

AB: I was fortunate enough to be able to study abroad in Italy, and I was able to visit Greece and England as well. Those have always been a dream of mine to visit. But right now, I’d love to go to the tropics – somewhere warm where I can enjoy the waves crashing against the shore.

HC: What are your plans for after graduation?

AB: After graduation, I’m planning on taking a year off to get my life together. I definitely want to attend KSU for graduate school, so that’s the next stop on my list.

HC: Where do you see yourself ten years from now?

AB: In ten years, I see myself owning my own practice. I’ve successfully gotten my master’s degree, and now I work as a clinical mental health counselor for adolescents. I hope to be married to my best friend and maybe a mini-me or two will be in my life.

HC: What’s your idea of a perfect date?

AB: My idea of a perfect date is spending time with one another. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy – just so you’re able to enjoy each other’s company. Oh, and some good food of course because food makes everything better.

HC: If you could choose to be born in a different decade, which would you choose and why?

AB: I wouldn’t choose to be born in a different decade. I’m content just how my life turned out no matter the hardships I’ve had to face.

HC: What’s your favorite thing about Kent State?

AB: My favorite thing about Kent State is the people. I never saw myself as a branching out type of gal, but KSU has made that possible for me throughout the years. Professors and faculty are passionate about the students and I’ve met some of my best friends here as well as my wonderful boyfriend. Kent has become my home.

Junior at Kent State, with a mojor in journalism and a minor in fashion media. I like to write about fashion, lifestyle and Harry Styles.
