8 of the Best Cruelty-Free Beauty Brands: From Drugstore to Sephora

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kent State chapter.

In 2019, it’s easier than ever to build a cruelty-free beauty routine. Besides, there’s no reason companies should test on animals. Studies have shown that it’s medically inaccurate and expensive in comparison to other testing methods. Countless companies have vowed not to let animals suffer for their products, from drugstore to high-end brands. Here is a list of just a few cruelty-free companies worth checking out.

Disclaimer: While a company might not test on animals, it does not mean their products are all free of animal byproducts (collagen, beeswax, carmine, etc). Each brand on this list offers a selection of vegan products. * Brands are 100% vegan, as well as cruelty-free.
