Spring is finally here once again, and now that vaccines are on their way out, it seems like we are finally getting a little bit closer to normal. That being said, we still have to do our best to continue to follow public health guidelines for the foreseeable future. What fun activities can you look forward to this season? Here are five ideas to get you started.

Bike Ride

Biking is one of the things I look forward to most when nice weather approaches. This activity will get you outdoors and enjoying nature, and the best part is, it is all for free. This is also a safe activity as long as you have a mask close by.

This is another fun idea to get outdoors. Having a socially distanced picnic is a safe way to meet up and enjoy time together with loved ones. It is important to make time to get together even though it has to be from a distance.

Going to an art museum is another fun way to get out of the house and enjoy browsing pieces of history. The Cleveland Museum of Art has free admission to the main exhibit, but you must reserve your tickets online.

Drive-In Movie

If you are unsure about the safety of going to a movie theater, why not try a dive-in instead? A drive-in movie allows you the comfort and safety of your own car, plus the experience of a movie theater. As soon as the drive-in opens near me, I will certainly check this one out.

Exercise Outside

Spending some time outdoors every day has been one thing that has helped me to get through the pandemic. Going outside for exercise is another great option. Go for a run or walk, or maybe play games in your yard. Any excuse to go outside will be worth it.

For the last year, it has really felt like we have been stuck inside our own houses. Of course, we all hope that will change soon but for now, I will enjoy finding any reason to have fun safely. With a mask handy, we should all go out and make the most of this season.
