With spring right around the corner, it’s time to turn off that sad winter music and start jamming to a fun spring/summer playlist. To help you make the best playlist of 2018, I composed a list of 15 songs; some new and some old to really get you in the spring time mood. It’s a mix of many genres, so everyone can find something they like.
The Middle by Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey
This song is a current favorite on the charts, and it’s such a fun song to dance around to.
1950 by King Princess
Harry Styles recently tweeted lyrics to this song on twitter, so that’s got to mean it’s good.
Butterflies by Kacey Musgraves
Want that feeling of falling in love during spring? Kacey has you covered!
Tyler Durden by Madison Beer
This song is a bit slower and on the sadder side, but it still has the spring vibe you’re looking for.
Carolina by Harry Styles
The minute I heard this song, I thought about the spring and summer seasons. Styles can do no wrong!
I Know a Place by MUNA
This song is just so catchy and up-beat! I’ve caught myself performing a concert in my car to this song.
Hard Feelings/Loveless by Lorde
Although this album/song came out last summer, it’s still a classic album with songs for any occasion or emotion.
Mystery of Love by Sufjan Stevens
A cute love ballad that will make even the most bitter want to fall in love, preferably falling in love in Italy.
Pink Lemonade by James Bay
James Bay has created such amazing songs, and he surely doesn’t disappoint with this one.
Dreams by Fleetwood Mac
A classic song! A song that makes you want to take midnight drives with your windows down when it hits those warmer spring nights.
No Roots by Alice Merton
A fun song that reminds me of Fleetwood Mac with a bit of Florence and the Machine thrown in there. You really can’t go wrong with that combo.
Hangover Love by Kap Slap
A good song to get caught completely jamming to at a red light by the old couple who just doesn’t understand our generation and our taste in music.
My! My! My! By Troye Sivan
Troye Sivan released new music, and it’s one of those songs that starts slow and builds quickly. Next thing you know, you’re practicing your death drop.
Psycho by Post Malone ft. Ty Dolla $ign
A good song nonetheless. You can’t help but dance to this spring/summer jam.
Shades by Alexandra Savior
This song makes me feel like I’m driving around in a 1950 convertible and as the lead roles in a blockbuster. But then again, that may just be me.
