In a world where music is numb and fraudulent, Lucky Daye decided it was time for a shift. Lucky Daye is an R&B artist that is very distinguished in the art of music.Lucky Daye is a modern mix of R&B music , Funk music, and his own personal Jazz roots. He has several singles, an EP ( Table For Two), and has collaborated with a range of different artists. Lucky Daye has performed at the BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, and many others. Lucky Daye is also a Six-time Grammy nominee. There are many other accolades, achievements, and collaborations that can be acknowledged( I suggest you review them as well). Lucky Daye is in a new generation of music and has started blazing a bright trail for himself and many other artists.

With success constantly approaching him, fans begin to wonder what could possibly be next for Lucky Daye. In December of 2021, Lucky Daye fans were pleased to hear that he had been working on an album and that the album would be coming in early 2022. As the date approached for Candy Drip, Lucky Daye began releasing sneak-peaks, promotion photos, and singles from the album. On March 10th of 2022, the wait was over. Along with the promo pictures, the album was just a breath of complete fresh air in the world of both Funk and R&B music. The album is loving, poetic, insightful, and unique in all the ways it is crafted. Personally I believe that he album embodies Lucky Daye himself. Just like in his promo pictures, the album simply takes you to an imaginary place that can also resemble the feeling of a wonderland. The album has 17 songs on it and features Lil Durk, Smino, and more. Lucky Daye is a man of true musical talent and gives our generation it’s own collection of timeless music. For all true R&B fans, March 10th truly was a lucky day.
