If you’re anything like me you probably love food but sometimes it gets boring eating at the same restaurants all the time. My favorite thing is trying new restaurants but most of the good restaurants I see on social media are in Atlanta which is pretty far from me so I decided to make a list of good restaurants in Kennesaw and give them a try. All of the restaurants listed below are within 13 minutes from Kennesaw State University campus.

Tacos Del Chavo

I found this place while driving around one day, and it looked interesting, so I decided to give it a try! Tacos Del Chavo has everything; tacos, burritos, tortas, enchiladas, and much more and it’s all super cheap! My personal favorites are the chicken and the steak tacos which are just $2 each!

Cylantros

Cylantros is a Venezuelan restaurant, and they have fantastic food at low prices too. My favorite items to get from them are the Chorizo Tacos and Beef Empanadas. Their most popular dish is the Shrimp Arepas. Arepas are grilled patties made with cornflour, and they are gluten free! They are filled with shrimp, chicken, steak, chorizo, or whatever meat you want!

575 Bistro

575 Bistro is a Vietnamese-American restaurant that offers a seafood infusion on their dishes! I haven’t been there, however, a friend of mine goes there often, and she swears by the dumplings! They also have great Pho which is a type of Vietnamese soup made from beef stock and spices, chicken or beef, and noodles!

Sunny’s Bagel and Deli

If you’re looking for a new breakfast spot you have got to try Sunny’s Bagel and Deli! Sunny’s is a New York-style deli with amazing bagels that are only 90 cents! They also have a $6.50 lunch special every day where you can get any sandwich, a drink, and a side.

The LoKal

The LoKal is an American restaurant and bar that’s family-friendly. Their menu offers American favorites such as burgers, sandwiches, and loaded tater tots! YUM! Every week on Fridays at 9:30 p.m. they have karaoke and they stay open till 2 a.m. on the weekends. The LoKal also offers a wall full of Xboxes with games provided!

Ippolito’s

Ippolito’s is probably my favorite Italian restaurant! They have been around since 1989, and I see why because their food is terrific. They have the best rolls, and their lasagna is unmatched! They also have great New York-style pizza, and you can add any toppings you want.

Pelicans

After you’ve visited all the restaurants, you can head over to Pelicans where they serve original New Orleans shaved ice! I found out about Pelicans this Summer, and I’ve gone so many times I can’t even count because it’s just that good!! Every time I go, I get cotton candy, but they have over 100 flavors to choose from! Make sure you try it while it’s still hot out!

I hope you’ll visit and enjoy all the restaurants! Happy eating Owls!
