Now, if you’re anything like me, this is the season premiere you have been dying to see! Bravo has announced that on November 03, 2019, the Season 12 of Real Housewives of Atlanta will air. All of the Atlanta Housewives’ fans have been craving to know the casting of the show. Who’s going to come back? Will there be any new housewives? Is Marlo Hampton going to get a peach FINALLY? We need answers! Filming is almost over for the ladies, and we’re getting inside scoops of who to expect from this upcoming season!
First and foremost, let’s kick it off with the casting!
HOUSEWIVES OF SEASON 12
- NENE LEAKES – Our HBIC and Queen of RHOA
- KENYA MOORE – Twirl is back and guess what? She has a mini twirl!
- CYNTHIA BAILEY – Our favorite supermodel is tying the knot…AGAIN!
- KANDI BURRESS – Bring on the dungeon!
- PORSHA WILLIAMS – Our goofball finally got her happily ever after.
- EVA STERLING – Top model, Top wife, and TOPMOM!
Unfortunately, our dear friend of 6+ seasons, Marlo Hampton, was not blessed with a peach. However, if you are a follower of Marlo on Instagram, you will see a change of her “friend” role. She is hosting events, putting her nephews and nieces on the show, and she is at the attendance of all of the lady’s events. Bravo may have something up their sleeve. Our good friend Marlo may have a peach in store for her, after all. We’ll have to wait and see!
Also, you’ll notice that a couple of lady’s names from last season didn’t appear this season. Where’s Shamari and Tanya? The inside scoop on Shamari is they didn’t invite her back as a housewife; however, Bravo asked her as a friend. She declined. In my opinion, you would rather have your foot in the door than the door closed completely. “The door is closed!” Shamari should have stayed on the show. However, Bravo should have kept this un-cut, raw, real, goofy, and feisty hot mama on the show as a housewife (I mean she is also an actual wife, unlike others…SHADE!).
On the other hand, Tanya was invited back as a housewife. It shocked me because she didn’t bring much. When you’re a friend of Nene’s, there is special treatment. If it weren’t for Nene, Tanya would not have even been asked back as a friend. Anyways, Tanya declined. Yes, Tanya turned down a peach!!! It was revealed by a subtweet of Tanya that she refused because she did not want her businesses being affected by the show. The show consists of lots of filming and traveling out of the country and inside of the country. There is also an enormous amount of energy that the ladies have to give to this show. Tanya did not want all of the responsibilities, but she still wanted to be apart.
Finally, we have the original OGs of the show plus Eva (who definitely earned that peach). We are excited to have Kenya back and cannot wait to see the Kenya vs Nene throwdown we all miss so well. The season 12 of Real Housewives of Atlanta will be a season you do NOT want to miss!
