1. Somewhere Between
If you love suspense and plot twist this series is for you! It keeps you on your toes and wondering what’s next. As a woman tries to change fate and keep her daughter alive.
2. Room
This movie will definitely have you going through a world wind of emotions as a young mother and son try to learn how to adjust to the real world after escaping their forced world of being confined to one single room for years.
3. Seven Seconds
A mother whose son was wrongfully killed makes it her mission to get justice for her family. This movie also touches on real life issues such as police corruption and family problems.
4. Black Lightening
This action-packed series is one that I surprisingly found interesting. A family of superheroes tries to save their neighborhood from failing due to the introduction of a new drug that is taking over the youth.
5. Lila and Eve
After losing her oldest son to gang violence and being at the wrong place at the wrong time. This mother will stop at nothing to get revenge and find out who is responsible for killing her son
