This week’s Keiser Cutie is none other than the charming musician David Umanzor. Besides being involved in the Student Government Association and remaining an active member of his household, Guardians of the Sacred Hearts, David is also an amazing soccer player!

Name: David Umanzor

Age: 19

Major/Concentration: Business Administration

Class status: Sophomore

Hometown: San Salvador

Relationship Status: Single

Favorite thing about Nicaragua: It is the cheapest and safest country in Central America!

Favorite music genre: Alternative Rock

What are your hobbies?

“My favorite hobby of them all is music. I absolutely love everything that has to do with music. I can’t let one day pass without playing the guitar or singing, even though I still get embarrassed when I have to sing in front of other people. I also like to exercise a lot, but I rather do it by playing soccer than working out at the gym. I guess that is the effect of the connection I built with my father and older brother since a very young age. They taught me everything about soccer and now I just feel happy every time I play for the team.”

What do you look for in a relationship?

“I really think that before getting into a relationship I must establish a strong friendship with that girl. A good relationship is the one you consider a joy and not a burden.”

Describe your ideal date:

“There are two dates I would love to have. The first one would be to grab lunch, and then go for a walk in a cold mountain while having a deep talk with my date. My other ideal date has got to be doing something dangerous and exciting like going scuba diving or free flying.”

How would you describe your ideal girl?

“I like a girl that likes to have fun and that enjoys joking around with me. Something I love about a girl is when she has goals and priorities and stays focused on achieving them. A girl that trusts in me is really important since it will allow us to become a great team. I’m in love with God so she has to love God even more than she loves me.”

What was your most embarrassing moment?

“When I was in fourth grade, I had this awful feeling of throwing up. I stood up in the middle of the class to ask the teacher for permission to go to the bathroom and, as I made my way to where the teacher was standing, the urge became too much to handle. I puked on my best friend’s backpack in front of the whole class and I felt terribly awful and embarrassed.”

How do you feel about being the first HC boy cutie for our chapter?

“I am really flattered and thankful to have been chosen as the cutie of the week. I have to tell you, it feels great to be the second cutie of our campus chapter!   I just want to wish my best to this project and I am really looking forward in seeing how the rest of the university will get involved with everything you guys do.”

3 Interesting facts about David.

1.     Even though most people consider me an outgoing person, I am actually really shy.

2.     During my childhood, I never cried or made a scene because I didn’t get the toy I wanted. I was a very quiet boy.

3.     I once washed my Gameboy in the dishwasher because it was dirty.
