Some students attending Kean University commute by using the train service offered by NJ Transit (Raritan Valley Line). The train station, located in Union, is only five minutes from Kean’s main campus. Taking the train to and from Kean is a convenience for those students who do not have their own transportation. Since Kean University is only 30 minutes away from New York City, students can also use the Raritan Valley Line from the Union train station to commute to the Big Apple whether it’s for fun or for an internship.
