Why It’s Time To Embrace Your Inner Weirdo

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

The number of quirky people is increasing, and pretty soon normal people will be outnumbered.

So you’ve always known that you are a little weird…

Or maybe people have always told you that you are quirky.

Either way, you know that you walk to the beat of your own drum.

Maybe you are scared of being judged.

You told yourself that it’s “just easier to be like everyone else”

Because when you were yourself, something like this happened:

But it’s time to embrace your individuality!

Because there are many benefits to being quirky.

You can say whatever comes to mind.

And people expect you to speak your mind.

You can dance like nobody’s watching

You don’t have to hide your inner child.

You’re allowed to be clumsy.

Your flirting skills are unparalleled.

You get excited about seemingly mundane things.

The world is boring enough. Let your natural self shine through!
