Waiting for Spring Break as told by Leo waiting for that Oscar

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

Spring break is about as close as it can get, but waiting is the hardest part. Leonardo DiCaprio may finally have is Oscar, but he sure understands how painful waiting can be.

It’s finally the week before spring break and sweet freedom is so close you can almost touch it.

Then you remember your four midterms, two papers, and a ten-minute presentation you have this week.

People keep asking you if you’re excited for spring break, but at this rate you don’t think it’ll ever come.

The stress almost gets you down as you think of all the sleep you’re going to catch up on once break starts.

Thursday comes and you’re all packed and ready to go until you remember that one assignment due by Friday morning.

Then finally you hand in that last assignment and feel the weight lifted off your shoulders–it’s spring break!
