Ask anyone what they think a big trend for Christmas is and they will tell you a great red lip!  I look forward to donning my Stila Lipstick in the color “Paramour” every holiday season because it adds a festive twist to any outfit I’m wearing. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not or just want to celebrate this time of year, go outside of your comfort zone with a red lip. Enjoy!
 
(Hint: If your skin has pink undertones, find a red lipstick with blue/cool undertones – like the Stila Lipstick I use here – and if you have an olive skintone or yellow undertones, find a warmer shade of red with orange undertones!)

Lauryn is a senior at Northeastern University majoring in journalism. She has written for Boston.com as well as the HC branch at Northeastern. Lauryn is also a teaching assistant for International Affairs students at Northeastern. In May and June of 2011, she embarked on a reporting trip to the Middle East, where she mastered the art of "man on the street" reporting and gained a new appreciation for falafel.
