The Jeffree Star X Shane Dawson Conspiracy makeup line was one of the most anticipated makeup launches in the beauty community this year. It was a big surprise when Shane Dawson, popular internet personality, announced that he was joining the beauty community and dropping his own Conspiracy-themed makeup line.
What was an even bigger surprise is that his palette and the rest of his beauty products were in such high demand. In fact, the high demand managed to crash the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website within minutes after the launch.
I was one of the overexcited fans that tried to purchase Shane’s Conspiracy Palette as soon as it launched and witnessed the crash of the website first hand. I immediately consulted twitter and saw that so many other fans were going through the same experience. Everyone was anxious to get there hands on this revolutionary palette. Although things were looking dim, Shane and Jeffree took action and made sure the site went back up.
Thanks to their efforts, I was able to purchase the Jeffree Star X Shane Dawson Conspiracy Palette!
Unfortunately, I will have to wait until Christmas to receive it, but I am SUPER excited to play around with all the fun eyeshadows that Shane has created for us. Not only are the colors fun and vibrant, but each name is also a unique Shane trope that is having all Shane fans quaking. For example, his dark smokey color in which he named “Spiraling” and a soft pink named “My Pills”. The iconic duo of “Just a Theory”, a shimmery rose pink, and “Not a Fact”, which is a vibrant dark red, will create looks tributing Shane’s iconic Conspiracy Theory videos.
Overall, Shane’s makeup launch was a huge success for him. It managed to sell out in less than a day! I know that all of his fans are so proud of his success, and cannot wait until he restocks so we can all get our hands on some more of his products!
