Nick Stopak is a sophomore with a double major in Finance and Economics and is also in Tau Kappa Epsilon.
A few of his favorite things:
Favorite color: Cerulean Blue – a fantastic mix of turquoise and baby blue.
Favorite food: Pizza, hands down, without a doubt, will always be and currently is my favorite food.
Favorite book: A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket – it’s one of the only series of books I’ve ever finished.
Favorite musician (based on current moods): Grateful Dead
Dream job: I really would like to go into the finance industry. I could see myself in New York for a while. I applied for an experiential learning thing – I’m still waiting to hear back on it – but they only take around twelve people. It’s about five days in New York at the end of the school year that the school pays for where we go around a bunch of different finance firms and get hands-on learning. So, I’m hoping I’ll get in.
Best vacation: Twelve days in Hawaii last summer. We went snorkeling and I got to touch a wild sea turtle.
What he did during Spring Break: Just went home and saw my friends and family and visited University of Maryland for a couple of days.
Ideal date: Dinner and a movie – pretty simple.
Relationship Status: Single
The one thing he cannot leave his house without: It would be my phone. I love my technology.
Most enlightening class at JMU: COB 291 – Management Science. It was the first genuinely really hard class I’ve ever had and now all of my classes this semester are just as hard as it. So, it kind of woke me up a little bit, but I did get an A in it!
