Want to learn more about love from experts? Attend the 2017 Love Talk Summit at JMU!
The event is on April 4 from 9am-4pm in the Student Success Center room 1075:
- 9-11am: The event will begin with a film festival component where research-based romantic relationship mini documentaries created by JMU students will be screened.
- 11am-12:15pm: Local love experts will answer your questions on the Love Expert Panel.
- 12:30-1:45pm: Expert Luncheon is a great way to engage with marriage experts while sharing a meal (the will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis- so arrive a few minutes early!).
- 2-3:15pm: After the lunch, four couples (who have been married for 25+ years) will discuss their experiences, what they’ve learned along the way, and what they wish they knew before tying the knot.
- 3:30-5pm: The day will end with an Emotional Support skill-building workshop run by JMU professor, Dr. Jennie Rosier.
There will also be free treats and bigger prize giveaways for all who attend (anyone is welcome!). You can pop in from time to time, or stay the whole day. You won’t want to miss this!
