JMU’s all female acapella group, Note-oriety, just released a new music video promoting positive self-image. Song of choice? Pretty Hurts by the one and only, Queen Bey!
Note-oritey is a group of strong women who want to make difference. “We are a group of women of all different shapes, sizes, colors, personalities, and from all different walks of life. We believe that our differences make us equipped to spread the message [that we are all perfect just the way we are]. Too many people struggle everyday with negative feelings about themselves or their bodies. Our goal is to change the way we speak about ourselves and others and spread positivity,” said junior Laine Hodges about the project.
