It’s that time of year again – when JMU students break out all of their purple and gold gear for Homecoming Week. Homecoming gives us students an excuse to obnoxiously display our love for our school (as if we don’t do that enough already). Last week, many events were organized to pump up students for the Homecoming game against University of Richmond on Saturday. Not only did current students have the opportunity to participate in all of the Homecoming festivities, alumni returned to their Harrisonburg stomping grounds to join in on the fun. During this past week, JMU “purple out” shirts were given out to those who picked up a lucky ticket and the Quad hosted many fun activities. JMU Homecoming is one weekend that you sure don’t want to miss next year and many years to come! What other events do you look forward to throughout the school year?
