Hey, gals! I’m sure you all have heard the buzz around “Galentine’s Day”. Galentine’s Day is basically just a celebration of love, but with all your favorite gals. It has been trending all over TikTok and Instagram this year, so I want to give you a guide to having a perfect Galentine’s Day.

Your Galentine’s Day can be as elaborate or as simple as you would like it to be. My friends are I have planned one for this weekend, and we took things to the extreme. Pinterest boards, notes pages, a schedule of activities, all of the works. Here are some fun ideas that we came up with for our celebration:

Paint Night

For our paint night, we all purchased a wine glass, tote bag, or canvas to paint. It can really be anything! Then we gathered all of our art supplies and, boom, we’ve got a paint night. This can be a fun bonding activity, especially if your group decides to rotate your items throughout!

Boards

You may have seen this trend before, and my friends and I thought this would be the perfect night to test it out. Choose your own board to make! This can be a classic charcuterie board, a dessert board, a chicken nugget board, or any other board you can think of. This is a simple way for everyone to bring different snacks to share with the group!

Pink Drinks

If someone in your group doesn’t want to do a board, they can bring a fun pink drink! My favorite that I have seen so far on Pinterest is the “Barbie Lemonade”. This consists of lemon juice, dragonfruit simple syrup, and strawberry soda on top. Yum!

Watch a Rom-Com

This is obviously a must for a gals night. It could be a classic rom-com like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, or it could be a newer one like Anyone but You. Whatever you decide, just make sure it’ll have you laughing and crying at the same time.

Happy love season!
