Spring break is just around the corner, and I’m sure you have your plans set, whether you’re taking a road trip to Panama City (a JMU favorite) or jet-setting to an international destination. Have you begun to piece together your wardrobe yet? When you hit a vacation spot, you wouldn’t think that you’d see any fellow Dukes, but I know from experience that since attending JMU, I’ve run into people even in the most tropical of places. So why not represent your inner Duke and show off a little purple and gold? I have the perfect accessory!

What wears better than a vibrant, silky scarf? What is better than purple and gold polka dots? That’s right, nothing. I discovered the cutest scarf through Collegiate Confetti, an online store that was created by Sally Goodrich, a JMU alum’s mom. Sally’s daughter, Evan, graduated in 2013, and they wanted to serve up a little sass with handmade scarves that would catch the eyes of the girls of JMU. Their scarves are made out of an airy, cotton blend that would be great for the upcoming spring. It would be perfect with a pair of jean shorts, a cute tank, and wedges (casual yet chic!).

Not only does Collegiate Confetti provide scarves in purple and gold, but they also have options for surrounding high schools, colleges, and even professional teams. You can have a scarf made in a classic style, where you can customize your look, and they even offer scarves in the infinity style as well. This company is continuing to grow, and you can be a part of their success! Check out Sally’s merchandise at http://collegiateconfetti.com. You have the fashion world at your fingertips, so choose Collegiate Confetti, and you will not be disappointed.

Hey Ya'll! Here at James Madison University I'm majoring in Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication and minoring in Family Studies. I'm just a student writing my way through college, and when I'm not busy doing that, I have my nose in a book. I couldn't make it through a day without Country music, and I love the OBX (it's Heaven on earth!).
