What are you involved with on campus?
I currently work as a Media Specialist on campus which means I help run sound for live events and I work as a projectionist to screen movies at the on campus movie theater. I love my job because I get to regularly attend events on campus like open mic night and I get to meet tons of new people. I’m a part of Doghouse Productions on campus which is a club of people who want to create or take part in creating short films, which is a passion of mine. I am also am president of JMU’s chapter of Delta Phi Alpha, the national German Honor Society.
Best memory at JMU?
My best friend from home came and visited me February of my freshman year, and it happened to be 60 degrees that day so we spent the afternoon on the Quad hanging with a ton of awesome girls from my hall. The bizarre weather really helped burn how great that day was into my mind.
There are so many good ones! If I had to pick just one one, I often think about this:
“Remember when you once dreamed of being where you are right now?”
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years I hope I am working on a set somewhere, preferably for a short or feature film!
What would your last meal on earth be and why?
That’s a really tough one. I would probably go with mac and cheese with a few slices of apple scrapple bread from Great Harvest. Bring on the carbs!
