‘Tis the season of holiday baking. It can get overwhelming with all the recipe options out there during the festive season. In my experience, baking recipes can be very hit-or-miss. If you’re going to put in the time and effort on a cozy winter night, everyone needs their go-to classic. Well, this is it.

These cookies are an absolute hit with everyone. The whole process takes less than 30 minutes and you most likely already have these ingredients in your kitchen.

Oh, and yes, only three main ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 cup of oats

  • Dark chocolate chips (I opt for vegan dark chocolate but any will do)

Optional other ingredients:

  • Cinnamon

  • Vanilla extract

Recipe:

  1. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl.

  2. Add in 1 cup of oats.

  3. Add the dark chocolate chips (as much as you wish).

  4. Opt: Add a dash of cinnamon and a splash of vanilla extract for some added flavor.

  5. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 mins.

Best enjoyed with a cozy movie night on the couch :)
