In case you missed one of the best literary food events of the year—here’s a quick snapshot of how it went. Contestants were able to choose any literary piece that they wanted to make a cake inspired by. They then got to show off their pieces, before people were allowed to then go around and eat them. For free. And let me tell you, they tasted as great as they looked!
Heart of Darkness
Don Quixote
Harold and the Purple Crayon
The Very Hungry Catepillar
Morrissey Autobiography
The Snowy Day
The Giving Tree
Game of Thrones
Hope these books either inspired you to pick them up and read them, or to go out and buy a cake!
