Lately, it feels like all of my friends are having mid-life crises. It’s like we’re finally realizing that we don’t know what we want to do with our lives; that suddenly we’re halfway through our college career but do we really want to be pre-med? Do we want to be in a relationship? I see my friends struggling with romantic attachments, with their academic and career goals, and I wonder whether there’s just something about the end of sophomore year that triggers all of this. In a few weeks, we’ll be halfway through our undergraduate time and in just two more short years, we’ll either be out working or moving on to higher education. But I have faith that we can pull through and figure out our lives. After all, so many people have been in our shoes before but they’ve all made it through.
