Matt Moores ’16, JHU’s Hilarious Hottie

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JHU chapter.

1.     Name — Matthew Moores

2.     Major, Year — East Asian Studies, Class of 2016

3.     Hometown — Baltimore, MD

4.     Affiliated with: The Buttered Niblets, Throat Culture, A Place to Talk, Witness Theater, The Barnstormers, WJHU, & DSAGA

5.     You can probably find me on a stage!

6.     The best thing about Hopkins is LACROSSE SEASON! Jk lol but it is popular here. The best thing about Hopkins for me is when all the freshmen arrive at the beginning of the year. I love going up and introducing myself to new friends! It’s great ’cause they automatically think you’re cool :)

7.     Something I’m especially proud of is when ast semester I performed a stand up routine in front of an audience of 750 people. It was single-handedly the most daredevil thing I’ve ever done. Before going on stage, I remember being such a weird mess. But in the end I went on stage and got it done, and it went over great!

8.     Something most people don’t know about me is I LOVE creepy crawlies. Spiders, snakes, bugs, all of them.

9.     This year, I hope to study abroad in China!

10.  In five years, I will be working with the government in DC and doing comedy in my free time!

11.  Next up for me is you just wait and see ;)

Look for me around campus! Or on Tinder…
