Your Guide to Cute, Affordable School Supplies

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Jefferson chapter.

One of the most exciting things about starting school is buying new school supplies. We might be in college, but that doesn’t mean we have to use boring stationary. Whether it`s glittery gel pens or cupcake post-it notes, we all need a little something to make our schoolwork more enjoyable.

The Target dollar spot is a great place to start if you`re on a budget. More often than not, you can find adorable sticky notes and pens for just $1! Sometimes, they even have cute cups and containers to store it all in.

Chances are, if you`re in college, you have a planner for writing down assignments, club meetings, important dates, etc. So why not make that enjoyable too? Bloom Planners are super cheap and hold lots of information. You can even find affordable planners at your local arts and crafts store. Getting a planner you find aesthetically pleasing will motivate you to use it more and stay on track in the upcoming school year.

Last but not least, if you want to make the best out of your school supplies, personalize them! You can do this by using stickers, painting and much more. Although stickers are a personal favorite, some people like to get really crafty and completely make them their own. There are ton ways to make this happen on Pinterest and YouTube.
