Here it is, Spring Semester 2020 to reign in the new year. With that being said it is time to once again buckle down for the rest of the winter into the spring months and focus on our school work. UGH. That may be difficult considering I’m sure most of us have fallen into our more lazy habits… staying in bed all day, binge watching, not going to the gym or making time for your physical health. With lack of school and motivation to get things done the past few weeks, it is going to be a large wakeup call the next few classes. Always remember to keep your big goals in mind when getting back into the swing of things. Don’t let procrastination and the thought of warm weather and spring break off in the distance get you off track. Good luck to everyone out there starting school again. Get a new planner, clean out your desk and backpack, and prepare yourself for the last stretch until SUMMER BREAK! Far off from now…but a girl can dream can’t she? Now here’s a few apps to help you takeover this semester: P. Schedule (able to plug in each class, semester, and assignment, and it will notify you before each assignment is due, or when a class is about to start), Chegg (find, buy, and sell textbooks for cheaper than your overpriced school store), and Schools (for finding all the best scholarships because who couldn’t use a little extra cash this semester).

Destiny is a Freshman at Jefferson and the Event Director of the Jefferson chapter of Her Campus. She is a Pre-Physician's Assistant student and also a member of the cheerleading team at TJU. In high school she was founder and treasurer of her high school's NAMI club and took part in many suicide and mental health awareness events and walks. She hopes to bring her activism to campus and voice it in her writing. In her spare time you can find her serving tables or babysitting, reading a good book, or traveling whenever she gets the chance!
