As a college student we all know that small simple joys are the key to staying afloat in burn-out season. With spring semester in full swing, midterms around the corner, and so many tests and projects becoming due very quickly, we need something to keep us motivated and happy, even if it is a little ridiculous. But then at the same time, is it actually ridiculous to buy a bunch of stuffed animals? I love to buy stuffed animals from anywhere, the dollar store, Amazon, Build A Bear, even my school store.

Stuffed animals are a timeless gift, because I truly believe you never grow out of them. They’re cute, you can dress them up, they make great pillows- specifically squishmallows, they’re amazing to cuddle with, and I’ve never regretted buying one and I doubt I ever will. There are too many perks and they do so much for me and my mental health, I refuse to let them go.

So I encourage everyone to find something small that they love to buy and will buy it constantly for their own happiness, especially during trying times in our semesters. It’s important to do small things for ourselves, and more importantly to not rely on others to do them for us. All in all just have fun and push for your peace! Wishing and praying we all have a great semester!
