My Predictions for the 2025 Season of Dancing With the Stars

Last year, I fell victim to the Dancing with the stars craze and fell in love with the cast, music, and fun of the show, so I can’t wait for it to get back up and started on September 16th! The cast is amazing, and I wanted to give an introduction and (biased) ranking of the cast, from who I think is going home first to who I think is going to win and take that mirrorball trophy.

Jordan Chiles

Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles is paired with Ezra Sosa and they will have my vote every time. I loved Ezra last season: he has a great personality and social media page, but he was paired with a disliked celebrity and got eliminated first. Jordan, with her flexibility, hard-working attitude, and gymnastics background, has got some good potential and I am completely biased when I say I hope they take that mirrorball trophy!

Scott Hoying

Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying is paired with Rylee Arnold. I am biased because I loved Rylee last season and I think she’ll do great this time when paired with a celebrity with good musicality. Plus, some of the sneak peaks we’ve gotten of Scott’s dancing haven’t been too bad.

Whitney Leavitt

Whitney Levitt is another star from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives paired with Mark  Ballas, a returning pro who hasn’t been on in the past few seasons. Fans are a bit upset that Whitney has a big dance background, but she’s got a good social media game going on so I see some potential (plus Mark is an amazing pro and I’m glad he’s back this season).

Alix Earle

Social media personality Alix Earle is paired with Val Chmerkovskiy. Another fan favorite, she is one of the most known names among the cast this year, so I anticipate she’ll be getting a lot of engagement from the fans, which is why I have her in the top five.

Jen Affleck

I don’t know much about The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck, but she is partnered with the new pro-dancer Jan Ravnik. Jan is most known for being a back-up dancer for Taylor Swift, so I have a feeling the Swifties will come through and get them into the top five.

Robert Irwin

Conservationist Robert Irwin, son of Steve Irwin, is paired with Witney Carson. He’s a fan favorite this season, but I’m not so sure his fan votes will keep up with his dance skills. His sister Bindi Irwin won season 21 of Dancing With the Stars, so I’m looking forward to see if those skills are genetic.

Lauren Jauregui

Musician and former Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui is partnered with Brandon Armstrong. I know she already has some dancing skills from being on stage, but I’m not sure how well that will translate to more traditional ballroom dancing. I love her personality though and hope she goes far, so this pair will be getting a lot of votes from me this season.

Dylan Efron

Zac Efron’s brother and TV star Dylan is paired with Daniella Karagach. Daniella always has the best choreography, so I’m really excited to see how she shines with someone who is actually a reasonable height this season (if you saw last season, you know exactly what I’m talking about).

Baron Davis

NBA player Baron Davis is partnered with Britt Stewart. I’m excited for this pairing, especially after last years basketball star Dwight Howard was shockingly good. However, many of the sports players can be a bit stiff, so I don’t anticipate him making it very far.

Danielle Fishel

Danielle is known for her role on Boy Meets World and is paired with Pasha Pashkov. I’m excited to see what they can do, especially since Pasha went out first last season, so I can’t wait to see what he brings to the table with choreography.

Elaine Hendrix

Known for her role on The Parent Trap, Elaine Hendrix is partnered with Alan Bersten. I’m excited for them as a pairing, but the cast is so stacked this season I just don’t see her out-dancing the other members.

Andy Richter

Comedian Andy Richter is partnered with Emma Slater. Last year, Emma really brought the votes for the older contestants by highlighting their personalities, and I think she’ll do it again this time, even if I think he will be among the worst dancers.

Corey Feldman

Actor and musician Corey Feldman is partnered with Jenna Johnson, who won last season. While I think he has potential (especially with Jenna’s choreography), I don’t see him making it far.

Hilaria Baldwin

Hilaria is partnered with Gleb Savchenko, who was already very controversial last season. She is an author and TV star known mostly for her marriage to actor Alec Baldwin. Supposedly, she already has ballroom experience and that, along with her controversial past, makes her the most disliked among fans. While she may be a good dancer, I don’t see her bringing in enough votes.
