Christmas Village

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Jefferson chapter.

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays especially in a beautiful city like Philadelphia. The last couple years Philadelphia has hosted Christmas Village where vendors come and set up shop. There’s delicious food, beautiful Christmas gifts, and even an ice skating rink. This year I went with my friend and we explored all that the Christmas Village had to offer.

We first got delicious cannolis and ate them as we walked around all the different vendors.

Next, we on a scavenger hunt for a specific artist that draws mechanical pictures. The artwork is very technical and really really cool! He has drawings of everything from planes and trains to Micky and Minnie Mouse. My friend and I both got Christmas gifts for our friends from him! Finally, we got some hot food to warm ourselves up before we left. Faith got German French fries and I got a delicious bratwurst!

If you have a chance, I highly recommend going! It’s open all the way through December 24th!

I am a senior Textile Materials Technoloy major from good ol' Pollock Pines, CA. I love water skiing, dancing, and mom blogs!!!!!!!
