1.      Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest

For the last 20 years, Penn`s Landing has transformed into a romantic ice skating rink and lodge during the winter season. This amazing attraction overlooking the Delaware River offers an Olympic-sized ice-skating rink, a restaurant called The Lodge, fire pits, heated tents and plenty of room to sit and relax. This event will be the perfect and affordable way to spend Valentine`s Day.

2.    Philadelphia Zoo: Wild at Heart

 

If you`re a person who loves animals, this attraction will be perfect for you. The “love-tour” will show you the zoo`s most popular couples, from the lions of Zoo 360, to the white-handed gibbon and much more! Also, learn interesting facts about the relationships between certain animals at the Philadelphia zoo. 

3.      Philadelphia Magic Gardens Valentine`s Day Tour

 

Magic Gardens is the one of the most popular attractions in Philadelphia. If you`ve never been there, it is a beautiful building covered in colorful mosaics by Isaiah Zager. This Valentine`s Day, there is a special candlelit tour where you can learn about how Isaiah`s love for his wife, Julia, inspired many of his pieces. In addition to the tour, there will also be wine and snacks for you to enjoy and a card-making workshop for kids. 

4.      Ex-Files Story Slam

 

If you are someone who doesn`t like Valentine`s Day, this event is for you. The Ex-Files Story Slam is back for the 6th year in a row at the Underground Arts on Callowhill Street. Ran by First Person Arts, a group of 10 writers will tell you stories of hilarious break-ups and slams at their exes. This event will be the perfect night out for you and your friends this Valentine`s Day!

5.      LOVE Park

 

If you`re going to visit Philadelphia this Valentine`s Day, Love Park is a must-see. The famous LOVE sculpture located on John F. Kennedy Plaza is a great backdrop for a romantic picture with your date. In addition to the beautiful scenery, there are plenty of food trucks to grab a bite to eat from nearby.
