Staff Spotlight: Carrie Valletto

Meet the fantastic Carrie! In case you haven’t seen her killin’ it on campus (mostly in the Dolan Science Center), here’s a bit more about her:

Name: Carrie Valletto

Year: Junior

Major:  Psychology with a concentration in neuroscience

Hometown: Willougmhby, Ohio

Campus involvement: I am VP-Public Relations for Kappa Delta (in addition to being involved with Her Campus JCU)

Favorite class taken at JCU: Intro to Women and Gender Studies

Favorite meal in the caf: salad loaded with veggies, quinoa, and grilled chicken

Favorite spot on campus:  the quad on a warm, sunny day

Why did you decide to join Her Campus?

I joined Her Campus because I had a few friends in it who really enjoyed it. I thought it would be awesome to let my voice be heard in a cool way!

If you could be anything in the world, what would it be and why?

If I could be anything, I would want to be someone who others feel they can always turn to in times of need.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is a pediatric oncologist.  Medical school has always been my dream and I am so passionate about helping others.  

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

If I could travel anywhere, I would travel to Italy.  On both sides of my family, I have great grandparents who came to American from Italy, so I think it would be really amazing to see where I come from.  Also, Italian food <3
